Royal Caledonian Club 50 Year Medal

As President of Penicuik Curling Club I was delighted to present two of our Lady Members with their Royal Caledonian Curling Club 50 Year Medal.

Jean Lennie was presented with her Medal on Friday 2nd October 2026 at the Opening Session of the Wheelchair Curlers. Jean had been instrumental in setting up the “Wheelies” and continues to enjoy regular involvement with wheelchair curlers. Jean was also President of Penicuik Curling Club from 1995-1997.

Janette Lambie was presented with her Medal on Sunday 4th October 2026 at the Penicuik Curling Club Opening Bonspiel. Janette was Club Treasurer from 2013-2017.

We are very grateful to both ladies for the dedicated contribution they have made to Penicuik Curling Club.

It is a remarkable achievement to be involved in Curling for over 50 years.
